First “New Year Wishes” in Advance…

Knowing the flowers will be seen only the next year
The butterfly wished in advance - Happy New Year!
It must have been the first wish that was sent
And the first wish that was received
For the flowers it was always the first wish that mattered the most
And that moment so special - They wanted to celebrate with the toast!

Knowing the butterfly will soon disappear the very next year
To find the new cheese and the nectar
The wishes followed her back with prayer
“The Prosperity” in her every walk of the new year!

"Another Day, Another Month, Another Year,
Another smile, Another Tear, Another Winter,
A Summer Too, But there will never be Another You!"

My Garden in The Garden City…

I envy this garden city
Who called back my butterfly without any pity
I searched all over to see her again, but in vain
And convinced myself – she always comes late and leaves early
Just like she did in my garden quite fairly

Suddenly I turned around
with a sense of whisper over my shoulder
The same sweet voice and the same sparkling eyes
The same dazzling look and the same soothing smile

I have to blink twice before I could say a word
All the flowers rejoiced together to welcome again
As if they met her since ages.
I had no choice but to capture this moment just like I did it in past

And now I feel my garden is in the garden city

This Is It!

The day I stepped in here, I could smell your fragrance everywhere
A sweet chill passed down my spine
And all the tiredness of my life vanished at once
I could hardly wait to see you…

I rushed through the cloudy morning
To see the first glimpse of yours
My heart beats were enough to catch your beauty
But my mind always reminded me – It is  just a glimpse, only capture it!

I was stunned and astonished to see you on your stunning bare legs
Posing like a beauty queen from the heaven
And whispering me gently- “Take me! I am all yours”…

I could hardly believe my eyes neither my senses
I pinched myself! Is it a dream or an illusion?
As I smoothly touched your body curves and textures I felt
Each granule of yours was carefully designed for me - Just for this moment!

I felt so grateful watching you the whole day and the night
But the time has come to depart and meet like this again in disguise
My heart cried - "This Is IT! This is where I want to live and where I want to die!”

Green Tea

Came the last day at the Happy Valley
And together came all the memories at the Alley

Down went to take a cup of tea
Two spoon sugar, milk and Tetley
Felt deeply the presence of butterfly
Turned back just to prove my illusion fly

Down poured all my Tetley tea
To have a longing taste of The Green Tea
Felt with each sip the taste of immortal nectar
That I missed for many days with the reason of sheer bitter

I thank for letting me know the sweet taste of the bitter tea
For which I now resolved to drink every time I get this Green Tea!

Butterfly Quotes

The fluttering of a butterfly's wings can effect climate changes on the other side of the planet.
- Paul Erlich

Where have those flowers and butterflies all gone
That science may have staked the future on?
He seems to say the reason why so much
Should come to nothing must be fairly faced.
- Robert Frost

Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life.  And everyone deserves a little sunshine.
- Jeffrey Glassberg

If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies.

The Change In Season!

The words refused to flow naturally
When I sat down to write patiently

I started thinking –
How can any poet ‘s mind be so stable all the time?
And how can he write the poems all his time?
Why has my garden lost its glory?
And I feared, will I also be lost in the History?

They say – Beauty lies in the Beholder’s eye
But whats the gist when beauty sways away the beholder’s eye?
Happiness was all what I cared...
But whats the fun when happiness is not cared for?

Then I learnt – This Is The Change In Season!
It is winter so the leaves are falling!
It is snowing and the flowers are hiding!

My serenity is rippled but not ruffled
My thoughts are shuttered but not shattered
Whatever the season come by; I shall enjoy
To see the blooming garden in my heart - like a wonder boy!

Gone With The Wind

And the whole universe has conspired to make the flowers' final call get heard!

In the blissful serenity of the solitude sight
Exchanged the truest thoughts in the twinkling night

Finally the day has come for the butterfly
Through the pinnacle peak to say Good-Bye
The Wings were heavy with the stocks
But the heart was light with the talks

As I see her disappear, flying up in the air
I flung my silent wishes in pair -
"Good-Bye Butterfly" and "Take Care"

“Can I Have Your Appointment Please?”

As she gathers sweet bread and nectar
To share with her so near and dear
Did she ever notice -
There was a castle in the making!

Wrapping up all the unfinished tasks
Packing up all the goodies and assorts
Did she ever hear -
The voices of the flowers calling!

The castle and the flowers -
Will they find her solitude again?
When they jointly say -
“Can I have your appointment please?” – One last time!

Sweet Sixteen!

Sweet Sixteen days are gone!
Never a single day passed by
without crossing my path with butterfly.

I silently wished her Hundred years
Every time she appeared
I wondered always –
Is it a sheer coincidence or a divine blessing?

Come the Twentieth day
I see her no more everyday - day by day...
Neither in a twist of fate nor in a Heavenly Consent!

Today I follow, why sixteen is so sweet!

In the Garden of my Heart

In the Garden of my Heart
Out of nowhere I saw –
A butterfly with her beautiful wings
                Wings of Freedom,
                                               Abundance Love,
                                                                            And A Soothing Smile

In the Garden of My Heart
Far away in a Never land -
Showed me a cocoon opening her first wings
                Wings of Origin,
                                           Comfort,
                                                         And A Tender Happiness

From the Garden of My Heart
To the Garden of her Heart –
Saw a caring soul with her blossoming wings
                Wings of Affection,
                                                Protection,
                                                                  And A Bonding Relation

In the Garden of My Heart
Out of nowhere I saw
Tasting the nectar ready to fly –
                With Wings of Hopes,
                                                    Wings of Dreams,
                                                                                And Wings of Sweet Memories

My Garden is still a Garden!
Cherishing the memories of a butterfly
Spreading all the fragrances
And Wishing all the wishes
